Hi, I‘m Tayla - a holistic Naturopath located in Wangaratta, North East Victoria.
I'm a Naturopath, Bowen Therapist, mother, plant and herb lover and the face of Botanical Health.
I currently practice alongside the wonderful Christos at North East Naturopathic Group in Wangaratta, however I do also offer Telehealth consultations. In clinic I love to utilise herbal medicine, homeopathics, flower essences and Bowen Therapy and feel very grateful that as naturopath's we have so many amazing treatment options to offer supportive, individualised care.
I have also undergone additional training in vaginal microbiome and genitourinary conditions to provide further support for conditions such as recurrent thrush, bacterial vaginosis and genitourinary syndrome of menopause.
In practice, I am a realist. I believe in balanced, sustainable changes and of course, a little bit of chocolate for the soul!
A little bit about me...
- Outside of the clinic you will find me pottering in the garden with my two little ones in tow, usually with a coffee, chai or herbal tea in hand!
- I love to try my hand at growing veggies, cut flowers and some medicinal plants. My qualifications include a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy) and a Cert IV in Bowen Therapy.
Ethos
I am passionate about being transparent with my patients, whether that relates to treatment options, costs, my professional limitations, or areas where I may not immediately have the answer. If there is ever something I am unsure of, I will always endeavour to research it thoroughly and come back to you with evidence-informed guidance.
I never want patients to feel they need to stretch beyond their financial capacity in order to improve their health. My approach is always to meet people where they are at and create realistic, sustainable treatment plans that align with both their health goals and budget.
I am not a practitioner who likes to “over-prescribe.” I aim to create treatment plans that provide the greatest value and effectiveness with the least unnecessary expense, giving you the most “bang for your buck.” That said, in some more complex or chronic health cases, a more comprehensive prescribing approach may be clinically indicated and will always be discussed openly with you.
I also strongly value collaborative healthcare and will refer to, or work alongside, other practitioners and specialists whenever necessary to ensure you receive the most appropriate and comprehensive care possible.
